Ormond teen shot following argument in parking garage
NEW A 14-year-old boy was shot early this morning on North Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach after he got into an argument with two people inside the parking garage on Earl Street, police said.

Volusia teacher up for state's top honor
Jeanne Wright's job title is "teacher," but she's never left behind the role of a student. Wright, a first-grade teacher at Cypress Creek Elementary in Port Orange, is one of five finalists for the state Teacher of the Year title.
